1884 got married with his first wife (Annie Clarendon)
1889 was widowed
1893 got married for second timewith (Agnes Hamilton)
1928 got marriedfor third time with (Mrs Sarah Nelson)
1929 his son became World Sprint
1920-1930 he became a spokesmanof membership of the Australian Workers' Union
1933 left Cumeroogunga to beformed by the Melbourne Aboriginal community
1935 led the first Aboriginal deputation
1937 formed Progressive Association in Sydney
1937 collected 1814 signatures from Aborigines all over Australia
1938 led the first deputation to a prime minister
1940 retired in Barmah.
1941 died at the age of 80
